Alli Myatt
Alli Myatt is a principal and co-founder of The Equity Practice. Alli has over two decades of experience advising nonprofits, districts, charter networks and companies on their practices. Prior to founding The Equity Practice, Alli was the Chief Operating Officer of an education nonprofit, where she led organizational wide DEI strategy, along with organizational strategy, talent, finance, and operations work. Alli worked at Teach For America where she was responsible for leading the National District & School partnership strategy and support team. Alli also has deep experience working with districts and charter networks to improve their hiring and other talent practices through her work at TNTP and The Bridgespan Group. Alli has an MBA from The Wharton School of University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Science from Cornell University.

Courtney Tungate
Courtney Tungate is a principal and co-founder of The Equity Practice. Prior to launching her own firm, Courtney ran recruitment and staffing for an education nonprofit, where she was responsible for recruiting educators to coach and train school leaders and their teams on instructional practices and school culture. Courtney implemented DEI strategies which resulted in increasing team diversity from 15-20% people of color to 50-60% people of color within three years. Courtney has experience in multiple contexts creating hiring rubrics, question banks and other hiring tools to create a high quality candidate experience. Courtney also trained managers and organizational leaders to implement DEI strategies with their teams and disrupt bias in hiring and on their teams. Courtney has an MPA in Education Policy and Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from The University of Oklahoma.
